there are a lot . Some are bad confession and some are meaningless confession
"Buruka buruka , buruka mweya. Ndiyende newe, ndinoda kusimba newe"
"Our days are from the almight, never desire to repent tommorrow you might be taken away before its time, you must work before it is day."
In fact in this type of music if you listen carefully in each every song there is at least one sentence that is not consistent to the word.
There is music that other people call gospel but its not. Gospel is good news meaning to say it blesses the one listerning not to instill fear, conderm, Judge etc. Thats why we have foundation school so that we understand how we do what we do, know what to do as members of the body of christ. If great men and women are made with words, that means the music lyrics ought to be spirit filled, life giving, bring joy to those seeking it and healing...
Knowledge is very vital to every christian
God bless you greatly
A while ago, someone tried to take a cheap shot at me concerning the kind of music I listen to (gospel music of course).
He was aware that I didn't listen to their kind of music so he asked if I can boldly tell him that I don't listen to those sort of music. My response to him was simply this; "I hear the songs but they don't mean a thing to me." He never mentioned the issue again.
It's very important that we watch the kind of music we listen to. Even among the supposedly "gospel" songs. If the song does not tell the present truth of God's word as it relates to the gospel, then we don't have any business with it.
Music ministers to the spirit faster than a lot of people know.
God bless you.
hey.. how would you know if the persons got a lesser faith than yours... i really wonder @ times when we ought to say things like this.. God can move thru a sinner, in a great house there are vessels onto honour and dishonour... its the move of the spirit that determines the music... but i get your point...
