PROVERB OF THE DAY

favor izege Novice

We have 30/31 days in every month..amazingly the book of proverbs is 31 chapters...hence read a book of proverbs everyday...

Today we are reading Proverbs 4th Chapter and the proverb of the day:

MY SON,ATTEND TO MY WORDS,INCLINE THEIR EAR UNTO MY SAYINGS..LET THEM NOT DEPART FROM THINE EYES..KEEP THEM IN THE MIDST OF THEIR HEART FOR THEY ARE LIFE UNTO THOSE THAT FIND THEM AND HEALTH TO ALL THINE FLESH....KEEP THINE HEART WITH ALL DILIGENCE FOR OUT OF IT ARE THE ISSUES OF LIFE...PRO 4:20-23

    PROVERB OF THE DAY:

THE WAYS OF A MAN ARE BEFORE THE EYES OF THE LORD AND HE PONDERETH ALL HIS GOINGS Proverbs 5:21

The entire chapter focuses on strange woman(man, friend etc) hence,be careful..because the end is bitter as worm wood, sharp as a two edged sword. Have a great day!

Today we are reading Proverbs 6th Chapter-6th November

    PROVERB OF THE DAY

006:006Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:
006:007Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler,
006:008Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest.
006:009How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? when wilt thou arise out of thy sleep?
006:010Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep:
006:011So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth, and thy want as an armed man.

Ants are very rich..because they plan and have forsight and are not lazy...no overseer..yet they organise themselves...we ought to do same...have a great service...

    PROVERB OF THE DAY

007:001My son, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with thee.
007:002Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye.
007:003Bind them upon thy fingers, write them upon the table of thine heart.
007:004Say unto wisdom, Thou art my sister; and call understanding thy kinswoman:
007:005That they may keep thee from the strange woman/man, from the stranger which flattereth with her/his words.

Today we are reading Proverbs 8th

    PROVERB OF THE DAY

008:010Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold.
008:011For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it.
008:012I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions.
008:013The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.
008:014Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am understanding; I have strength.
008:015By me kings reign, and princes decree justice.
008:016By me princes rule, and nobles, even all the judges of the earth.
008:017I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.
008:018Riches and honour are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness.
008:019My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; and my revenue than choice silver.

With wisdom we have everything and wisdom is the word of God put to work

wisdom greater than money..8th verse riches and honor are with. WISDOM.....waoh...
