whats your perception?

steve ibe Newbie

Pastor, I just got a text message saying I should not pick calls from

certain numbers, short numbers actually. And it makes me

start to think, should one really be believing this kind of news?

Cos I dont believe any of these and it makes me feel bad to

see people paniking at such information. Sir I would really like

you to address this issue and give us a direction. General

contributions are also welcome. Thanks and God bless.

    Conisder the following verses:

    • Isaiah 54:17 THE BIBLE SAYS "No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper..."
    • Psalm 33:10 THE BIBLE ALSO SAYS  "...he maketh the devices of the people of none effect".
    • JOB 5:12  SAYS "He disappointeth the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise".

IF WE CONSIDER THESE BIBLE TEXTS, IT ACTUALLY SAYS FORMED ( i.e DESIGNED, CONSTRUCTED, FABRICATED, SET-UP, PUT TOGETHER,or DEVICED). THEREFORE ANY OF SUCH, WHETHER GUNS, SWORD, JUJU (Black Magic) OR "SPECIAL NUMBER" CANNOT PROSPER AGAINST US. THIS IS OUR HERITAGE, AND THE WORLD CAN'T UNDERSTAND IT.

Thank you Bro. Obi for those scriptures:

Bro. Steve, meditate on them including the ones below:

Psalms 27:1- 5 "The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked came against me To eat up my flesh, My enemies and foes, They stumbled and fell. Though an army may encamp against me, My heart shall not fear; Though war may rise against me, In this I will be confident. One thing I have desired of the Lord, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the Lord, And to inquire in His temple. For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock."

Proverbs 3:24 "When you lie down, you will not be afraid; Yes, you will lie down and your sleep will be sweet."

Job 5:22 "You shall laugh at destruction and famine, And you shall not be afraid of the beasts of the earth."

Psalms 112:7 "He will not be afraid of evil tidings; His heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord."

Psalms 91:9,10 "Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place, No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;"

Isaiah 43:1,2 "...Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you."

Ezekiel 34:28 "And they shall no longer be a prey for the nations, nor shall beasts of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and no one shall make them afraid."

Fear is not of God and Pastor tells us that fear is "having faith in the ability of your adversary". When you have the Word of God in you Faith wells up in you and these stories that cause the unlearned to react in fear will be a subject of laughter for you.

This is why it is so critical for the child of God to study and meditate on the word and equally as important to: LISTEN TO PASTORS MESSAGES because Faith cometh by HEARING and HEARING by the Word of God.

You are Born to Win, Overcome and produce testimonies, let such situations give you the opportunity to share the Word to those that spread such stories around you and get them born again.
