I AM DELEGATED BY CHRIST THE KING OF GLORY!

Pastor Chris says now that the King of glory is seated in heaven on the right hand of God, the hand of authority, the church, you and me, the body of Christ, have the responsibility to exercise Jesus' authority. He gave us this authority in Matt 28:19. Pastor Chris has explained before that when this scripture says "Go ye therefore..." it means that, "on the basis of this power which i have, go and preach to all nations...." Pastor says Jesus has delegated his authority to us. it means that he has given us permission to put on his shoes, to takjee his place and do his work. We are therefore his representatives, the effulgence of the glorified Christ! we have his glory in us! We therefore must boldly cast out devils, tame the forces of nature and mobilize angels to work on our behalf.

However, we can also know his written will when we pray in tongues, Pastor says. He says that the Holy Spirit is the one that gives us utterance when we speak in other tongues and He leads us outside provisions of God's word. Pastor continues to say that when we pray in tongues, the Holy Spirit imparts the knowledge of God's will concerning important things to us. Pastor says the Holy Spirit helps us to pray right, in line with the will of God. He says if we poray this way, physical circumstances around us will align with God's pwerfect will for our lives. What change do you want to see in your life, family, ministry, job, business, finances or academics? Pray ferevently in tongues and you would receive ideas and answersom the Holy spirit, Pastor says!

Be Importunate In Prayer

"And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man: And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man; Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me." Luke 18:1-5

The teachings of the Lord Jesus on faith are quite profound. In the text above, He taught on being persistent in prayer. He said men ought always to pray and not give up or lose heart. You’re supposed to pray in faith and expect results, because faith always works. To be discouraged or disheartened about a situation that you’ve prayed about isn’t faith.

Faith is the confident assurance and expectation that what you asked God for has been granted you. Therefore, you don’t give up; you remain importunate like the woman referenced by Jesus in our opening text.

Importunity in prayer doesn’t mean you’re unbelieving; it actually indicates faith, otherwise you won’t be insisting and standing your ground on the Word to produce results. Where some have missed it, however, is that they give up too soon. In faith, you stand your ground until it’s done.

Though there’s an adversary, the devil, that may try to stop your miracle, he’s no longer a factor. 1 Peter 5:8-9 says, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.”

In this scripture, you’re admonished on how to deal with Satan: you’re to resist him! James 4:7 further tells us the result of resisting him: he’ll “show a clean pair of heels”; that means bolt in terror. He’ll flee from you. Don’t give up on your dreams. Keep nurturing your desires and your expectations with your faith-filled confessions. The Bible says if the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth (Ecclesiastes 11:3); your faith will surely prevail if you faint not.

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for helping me build strong and prevailing faith through your Word. Nothing is impossible unto me and no level of success, victory and progress is unattainable for me because I live by faith in the Word, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY

Mark 11:23-24: "For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. 24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them."

1 Timothy 2:8: "I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting."

Luke 18:1-5: "And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man: And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. As profound as this truth is, there's more. Observe our theme verse again. God said, "...Let us make man in our image, after our likeness...." Made "after His likeness" means we were made to function like Him. Thus, not only do we look like Him, we can emulate Him; we can function like Him. The question then is, "How does He function?"

Genesis 1:1 gives us an idea; it says, "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." This signifies that God is a creator, because the first thing we read about Him in the book of Genesis is that "He created": that indicates one of His functions. So, like Him, you're a creator. Secondly, notice what He created: the heavens and the earth. Heaven is an environment, so also is the earth. They're both environments that function in a certain way, based on design. This means that, with faith-filled proclamations, you can create your own environment of victory, prosperity and health.

Genesis 1:2 tells us what God did when the earth was without form, and in total chaos: with the creative word, He restored order, beauty and form to the earth; whatever He said came to be. Like Him, you can utter words--creative words of faith--and have what you say (Mark 11:23).

PRAYER:

Dear Father, I thank you for the ability to effect changes in the circumstances of my life by speaking forth your Word. Being a creator just like you are, I declare positive and tremendous changes in my finances, health, family, education, ministry, and business, today, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

<p style="font-family: 'Open Sans', sans-serif; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

John 3:22-36: 22 ¶ After these things came Jesus and his disciples into the land of Judaea; and there he tarried with them, and baptized. 23 ¶ And John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim, because there was much water there: and they came, and were baptized. 24 For John was not yet cast into prison. 25 ¶ Then there arose a question between some of John's disciples and the Jews about purifying. 26 And they came unto John, and said unto him, Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond Jordan, to whom thou barest witness, behold, the same baptizeth, and all men come to him. 27 John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven. 28 Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him. 29 He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled. 30 He must increase, but I must decrease. 31 He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all. 32 And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his testimony. 33 He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true. 34 For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him. 35 The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand. 36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

1 Now these be the last words of David. David the son of Jesse said, and the man who was raised up on high, the anointed of the God of Jacob, and the sweet psalmist of Israel, said, 2 The Spirit of the LORD spake by me, and his word was in my tongue. 3 The God of Israel said, the Rock of Israel spake to me, He that ruleth over men must be just, ruling in the fear of God. 4 And he shall be as the light of the morning, when the sun riseth, even a morning without clouds; as the tender grass springing out of the earth by clear shining after rain. 5 Although my house be not so with God; yet he hath made with me an everlasting covenant, ordered in all things, and sure: for this is all my salvation, and all my desire, although he make it not to grow. 6 ¶ But the sons of Belial shall be all of them as thorns thrust away, because they cannot be taken with hands: 7 But the man that shall touch them must be fenced with iron and the staff of a spear; and they shall be utterly burned with fire in the same place. 8 ¶ These be the names of the mighty men whom David had: The Tachmonite that sat in the seat, chief among the captains; the same was Adino the Eznite: he lift up his spear against eight hundred, whom he slew at one time. 9 And after him was Eleazar the son of Dodo the Ahohite, one of the three mighty men with David, when they defied the Philistines that were there gathered together to battle, and the men of Israel were gone away: 10 He arose, and smote the Philistines until his hand was weary, and his hand clave unto the sword: and the LORD wrought a great victory that day; and the people returned after him only to spoil. 11 And after him was Shammah the son of Agee the Hararite. And the Philistines were gathered together into a troop, where was a piece of ground full of lentiles: and the people fled from the Philistines. 12 But he stood in the midst of the ground, and defended it, and slew the Philistines: and the LORD wrought a great victory. 13 And three of the thirty chief went down, and came to David in the harvest time unto the cave of Adullam: and the troop of the Philistines pitched in the valley of Rephaim. 14 And David was then in an hold, and the garrison of the Philistines was then in Beth-lehem. 15 And David longed, and said, Oh that one would give me drink of the water of the well of Beth-lehem, which is by the gate! 16 And the three mighty men brake through the host of the Philistines, and drew water out of the well of Beth-lehem, that was by the gate, and took it, and brought it to David: nevertheless he would not drink thereof, but poured it out unto the LORD. 17 And he said, Be it far from me, O LORD, that I should do this: is not this the blood of the men that went in jeopardy of their lives? therefore he would not drink it. These things did these three mighty men. 18 And Abishai, the brother of Joab, the son of Zeruiah, was chief among three. And he lifted up his spear against three hundred, and slew them, and had the name among three. 19 Was he not most honourable of three? therefore he was their captain: howbeit he attained not unto the first three. 20 And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, the son of a valiant man, of Kabzeel, who had done many acts, he slew two lionlike men of Moab: he went down also and slew a lion in the midst of a pit in time of snow: 21 And he slew an Egyptian, a goodly man: and the Egyptian had a spear in his hand; but he went down to him with a staff, and plucked the spear out of the Egyptian's hand, and slew him with his own spear. 22 These things did Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and had the name among three mighty men. 23 He was more honourable than the thirty, but he attained not to the first three. And David set him over his guard. 24 Asahel the brother of Joab was one of the thirty; Elhanan the son of Dodo of Beth-lehem, 25 Shammah the Harodite, Elika the Harodite, 26 Helez the Paltite, Ira the son of Ikkesh the Tekoite, 27 Abiezer the Anethothite, Mebunnai the Hushathite, 28 Zalmon the Ahohite, Maharai the Netophathite 29 Heleb the son of Baanah, a Netophathite, Ittai the son of Ribai out of Gibeah of the children of Benjamin, 30 Benaiah the Pirathonite, Hiddai of the brooks of Gaash, 31 Abi-albon the Arbathite, Azmaveth the Barhumite, 32 Eliahba the Shaalbonite, of the sons of Jashen, Jonathan, 33 Shammah the Hararite, Ahiam the son of Sharar the Hararite, 34 Eliphelet the son of Ahasbai, the son of the Maachathite, Eliam the son of Ahithophel the Gilonite, 35 Hezrai the Carmelite, Paarai the Arbite, 36 Igal the son of Nathan of Zobah, Bani the Gadite, 37 Zelek the Ammonite, Naharai the Beerothite, armourbearer to Joab the son of Zeruiah, 38 Ira an Ithrite, Gareb an Ithrite, 39 Uriah the Hittite: thirty and seven in all.

CHAPTER 24.

1 And again the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel, and he moved David against them to say, Go, number Israel and Judah. 2 For the king said to Joab the captain of the host, which was with him, Go now through all the tribes of Israel, from Dan even to Beer-sheba, and number ye the people, that I may know the number of the people. 3 And Joab said unto the king, Now the LORD thy God add unto the people, how many soever they be, an hundredfold, and that the eyes of my lord the king may see it: but why doth my lord the king delight in this thing? 4 Notwithstanding the king's word prevailed against Joab, and against the captains of the host. And Joab and the captains of the host went out from the presence of the king, to number the people of Israel. 5 ¶ And they passed over Jordan, and pitched in Aroer, on the right side of the city that lieth in the midst of the river of Gad, and toward Jazer: 6 Then they came to Gilead, and to the land of Tahtim-hodshi; and they came to Dan-jaan, and about to Zidon, 7 And came to the strong hold of Tyre, and to all the cities of the Hivites, and of the Canaanites: and they went out to the south of Judah, even to Beer-sheba. 8 So when they had gone through all the land, they came to Jerusalem at the end of nine months and twenty days. 9 And Joab gave up the sum of the number of the people unto the king: and there were in Israel eight hundred thousand valiant men that drew the sword; and the men of Judah were five hundred thousand men 10 ¶ And David's heart smote him after that he had numbered the people. And David said unto the LORD, I have sinned greatly in that I have done: and now, I beseech thee, O LORD, take away the iniquity of thy servant; for I have done very foolishly. 11 For when David was up in the morning, the word of the LORD came unto the prophet Gad, David's seer, saying, 12 Go and say unto David, Thus saith the LORD, I offer thee three things; choose thee one of them, that I may do it unto thee. 13 So Gad came to David, and told him, and said unto him, Shall seven years of famine come unto thee in thy land? or wilt thou flee three months before thine enemies, while they pursue thee? or that there be three days' pestilence in thy land? now advise, and see what answer I shall return to him that sent me. 14 And David said unto Gad, I am in a great strait: let us fall now into the hand of the LORD; for his mercies are great: and let me not fall into the hand of man. 15 ¶ So the LORD sent a pestilence upon Israel from the morning even to the time appointed: and there died of the people from Dan even to Beer-sheba seventy thousand men. 16 And when the angel stretched out his hand upon Jerusalem to destroy it, the LORD repented him of the evil, and said to the angel that destroyed the people, It is enough: stay now thine hand. And the angel of the LORD was by the threshingplace of Araunah the Jebusite. 17 And David spake unto the LORD when he saw the angel that smote the people, and said, Lo, I have sinned, and I have done wickedly: but these sheep, what have they done? let thine hand, I pray thee, be against me, and against my father's house. 18 And Gad came that day to David, and said unto him, Go up, rear an altar unto the LORD in the threshingfloor of Araunah the Jebusite. 19 And David, according to the saying of Gad, went up as the LORD commanded. 20 And Araunah looked, and saw the king and his servants coming on toward him: and Araunah went out, and bowed himself before the king on his face upon the ground. 21 And Araunah said, Wherefore is my lord the king come to his servant? And David said, To buy the threshingfloor of thee, to build an altar unto the LORD, that the plague may be stayed from the people. 22 And Araunah said unto David, Let my lord the king take and offer up what seemeth good unto him: behold, here be oxen for burnt sacrifice, and threshing instruments and other instruments of the oxen for wood. 23 All these things did Araunah, as a king, give unto the king. And Araunah said unto the king, The LORD thy God accept thee. 24 And the king said unto Araunah, Nay; but I will surely buy it of thee at a price: neither will I offer burnt offerings unto the LORD my God of that which doth cost me nothing. So David bought the threshingfloor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver. 25 And David built there an altar unto the LORD, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. So the LORD was intreated for the land, and the plague was stayed from Israel.

www.rhapsodyofrealities.org.

Kindly download this life transforming message by the Man of God Rev Chris Oyakhilome Ph.D.http://www.pastorchrisonline.org/freemsgdownload.

Pastor Chris Saturday,

May 4th, 2013

THE WORD IS YOUR EVIDENCE

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen Hebrews 11:1

One of those peculiar rules and requirements of effectual prayers is that you present the Word of God as your evidence. This is one of the reasons you should constantly study God’s Word; the Word is the evidence you need to lay claims to your inheritance in Christ. If you were told to prove your ownership to a piece of land, for instance, you wouldn’t set out to move the property from its location to show anyone making such enquiry, would you? Rather, you’d simply produce the “evidence” or “title deed” to the property. In the Amplified version, faith is defined as “…the assurance (the confirmation, THE TITLE DEED) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see {and} the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses]” (Hebrews 11:1).

When you seek to effect changes through the prayer of faith, you must be spiritually alert to recognize the evidence the Holy Spirit is bringing to your awareness. Sometimes, He could lead you to study a particular verse of the Bible, or impress certain scriptures in your spirit; meditate and pray with those scriptures. In addition, you could have a note of victory in your inner-man through a word of prophecy.

The word may not necessarily come from someone else; the Holy Spirit can simply grant you the utterance as you pray, or bring a song to your spirit that causes great rejoicing within you. Never let go of such words, for they’re the evidence of your victory.

Meditate on them; talk them; be bold to let others know what you’ve received, and act accordingly. For someone who perhaps has been sick, and had prayed to be healed, he would need to look to the Word for the evidence of his healing. Study the Word of God and find out what He has said about your peculiar situation today. When you’ve located the evidence, use it!

PRAYER

Dear Father, I rejoice in your Word that imparts faith to my spirit, causing me to see and apprehend my inheritance in Christ. I function in the dominion of the Spirit today, conscious that all things are mine, in the Name of the Lord Jesus. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY

Isaiah 41:21: 21 Produce your cause, saith the LORD; bring forth your strong reasons, saith the King of Jacob.

Hosea 14:2: Take with you words, and turn to the LORD: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips.

DAILY SCRIPTURE READING

1 Year Bible Reading Plan

John 1:19-51.

19 ¶ And this is the record of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who art thou? 20 And he confessed, and denied not; but confessed, I am not the Christ. 21 And they asked him, What then? Art thou Elias? And he saith, I am not. Art thou that prophet? And he answered, No. 22 Then said they unto him, Who art thou? that we may give an answer to them that sent us. What sayest thou of thyself? 23 He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias. 24 And they which were sent were of the Pharisees. 25 And they asked him, and said unto him, Why baptizest thou then, if thou be not that Christ, nor Elias, neither that prophet? 26 John answered them, saying, I baptize with water: but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not; 27 He it is, who coming after me is preferred before me, whose shoe's latchet I am not worthy to unloose. 28 These things were done in Bethabara beyond Jordan, where John was baptizing. 29 ¶ The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. 30 This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me. 31 And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water. 32 And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him. 33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost. 34 And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God. 35 ¶ Again the next day after John stood, and two of his disciples; 36 And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God! 37 And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus. 38 Then Jesus turned, and saw them following, and saith unto them, What seek ye? They said unto him, Rabbi, (which is to say, being interpreted, Master,) where dwellest thou? 39 He saith unto them, Come and see. They came and saw where he dwelt, and abode with him that day: for it was about the tenth hour. 40 One of the two which heard John speak, and followed him, was Andrew, Simon Peter's brother. 41 He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ. 42 And he brought him to Jesus. And when Jesus beheld him, he said, Thou art Simon the son of Jona: thou shalt be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone. 43 ¶ The day following Jesus would go forth into Galilee, and findeth Philip, and saith unto him, Follow me. 44 Now Philip was of Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter. 45 Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph. 46 And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see. 47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile! 48 Nathanael saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee. 49 Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel. 50 Jesus answered and said unto him, Because I said unto thee, I saw thee under the fig tree, believest thou? thou shalt see greater things than these. 51 And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.

2 Samuel 18-19.

2 Samuel 18 1 And David numbered the people that were with him, and set captains of thousands and captains of hundreds over them. 2 And David sent forth a third part of the people under the hand of Joab, and a third part under the hand of Abishai the son of Zeruiah, Joab's brother, and a third part under the hand of Ittai the Gittite. And the king said unto the people, I will surely go forth with you myself also. 3 But the people answered, Thou shalt not go forth: for if we flee away, they will not care for us; neither if half of us die, will they care for us: but now thou art worth ten thousand of us: therefore now it is better that thou succour us out of the city. 4 And the king said unto them, What seemeth you best I will do. And the king stood by the gate side, and all the people came out by hundreds and by thousands. 5 And the king commanded Joab and Abishai and Ittai, saying, Deal gently for my sake with the young man, even with Absalom. And all the people heard when the king gave all the captains charge concerning Absalom. 6 ¶ So the people went out into the field against Israel: and the battle was in the wood of Ephraim; 7 Where the people of Israel were slain before the servants of David, and there was there a great slaughter that day of twenty thousand men. 8 For the battle was there scattered over the face of all the country: and the wood devoured more people that day than the sword devoured. 9 ¶ And Absalom met the servants of David. And Absalom rode upon a mule, and the mule went under the thick boughs of a great oak, and his head caught hold of the oak, and he was taken up between the heaven and the earth; and the mule that was under him went away. 10 And a certain man saw it, and told Joab, and said, Behold, I saw Absalom hanged in an oak. 11 And Joab said unto the man that told him, And, behold, thou sawest him, and why didst thou not smite him there to the ground? and I would have given thee ten shekels of silver, and a girdle. 12 And the man said unto Joab, Though I should receive a thousand shekels of silver in mine hand, yet would I not put forth mine hand against the king's son: for in our hearing the king charged thee and Abishai and Ittai, saying, Beware that none touch the young man Absalom. 13 Otherwise I should have wrought falsehood against mine own life: for there is no matter hid from the king, and thou thyself wouldest have set thyself against me. 14 Then said Joab, I may not tarry thus with thee. And he took three darts in his hand, and thrust them through the heart of Absalom, while he was yet alive in the midst of the oak. 15 And ten young men that bare Joab's armour compassed about and smote Absalom, and slew him. 16 And Joab blew the trumpet, and the people returned from pursuing after Israel: for Joab held back the people. 17 And they took Absalom, and cast him into a great pit in the wood, and laid a very great heap of stones upon him: and all Israel fled every one to his tent. 18 ¶ Now Absalom in his lifetime had taken and reared up for himself a pillar, which is in the king's dale: for he said, I have no son to keep my name in remembrance: and he called the pillar after his own name: and it is called unto this day, Absalom's place. 19 Then said Ahimaaz the son of Zadok, Let me now run, and bear the king tidings, how that the LORD hath avenged him of his enemies. 20 And Joab said unto him, Thou shalt not bear tidings this day, but thou shalt bear tidings another day: but this day thou shalt bear no tidings, because the king's son is dead. 21 Then said Joab to Cushi, Go tell the king what thou hast seen. And Cushi bowed himself unto Joab, and ran. 22 Then said Ahimaaz the son of Zadok yet again to Joab, But howsoever, let me, I pray thee, also run after Cushi. And Joab said, Wherefore wilt thou run, my son, seeing that thou hast no tidings ready? 23 But howsoever, said he, let me run. And he said unto him, Run. Then Ahimaaz ran by the way of the plain, and overran Cushi. 24 And David sat between the two gates: and the watchman went up to the roof over the gate unto the wall, and lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold a man running alone. 25 And the watchman cried, and told the king. And the king said, If he be alone, there is tidings in his mouth. And he came apace, and drew near. 26 And the watchman saw another man running: and the watchman called unto the porter, and said, Behold another man running alone. And the king said, He also bringeth tidings. 27 And the watchman said, Me thinketh the running of the foremost is like the running of Ahimaaz the son of Zadok. And the king said, He is a good man, and cometh with good tidings. 28 And Ahimaaz called, and said unto the king, All is well. And he fell down to the earth upon his face before the king, and said, Blessed be the LORD thy God, which hath delivered up the men that lifted up their hand against my lord the king. 29 And the king said, Is the young man Absalom safe? And Ahimaaz answered, When Joab sent the king's servant, and me thy servant, I saw a great tumult, but I knew not what it was. 30 And the king said unto him, Turn aside, and stand here. And he turned aside, and stood still. 31 And, behold, Cushi came; and Cushi said, Tidings, my lord the king: for the LORD hath avenged thee this day of all them that rose up against thee. 32 And the king said unto Cushi, Is the young man Absalom safe? And Cushi answered, The enemies of my lord the king, and all that rise against thee to do thee hurt, be as that young man is. 33 ¶ And the king was much moved, and went up to the chamber over the gate, and wept: and as he went, thus he said, O my son Absalom, my son, my son Absalom! would God I had died for thee, O Absalom, my son, my son!

CHAPTER 19

1 And it was told Joab, Behold, the king weepeth and mourneth for Absalom. 2 And the victory that day was turned into mourning unto all the people: for the people heard say that day how the king was grieved for his son. 3 And the people gat them by stealth that day into the city, as people being ashamed steal away when they flee in battle. 4 But the king covered his face, and the king cried with a loud voice, O my son Absalom, O Absalom, my son, my son! 5 And Joab came into the house to the king, and said, Thou hast shamed this day the faces of all thy servants, which this day have saved thy life, and the lives of thy sons and of thy daughters, and the lives of thy wives, and the lives of thy concubines; 6 In that thou lovest thine enemies, and hatest thy friends. For thou hast declared this day, that thou regardest neither princes nor servants: for this day I perceive, that if Absalom had lived, and all we had died this day, then it had pleased thee well. 7 Now therefore arise, go forth, and speak comfortably unto thy servants: for I swear by the LORD, if thou go not forth, there will not tarry one with thee this night: and that will be worse unto thee than all the evil that befell thee from thy youth until now. 8 Then the king arose, and sat in the gate. And they told unto all the people, saying, Behold, the king doth sit in the gate. And all the people came before the king: for Israel had fled every man to his tent. 9 ¶ And all the people were at strife throughout all the tribes of Israel, saying, The king saved us out of the hand of our enemies, and he delivered us out of the hand of the Philistines; and now he is fled out of the land for Absalom. 10 And Absalom, whom we anointed over us, is dead in battle. Now therefore why speak ye not a word of bringing the king back? 11 ¶ And king David sent to Zadok and to Abiathar the priests, saying, Speak unto the elders of Judah, saying, Why are ye the last to bring the king back to his house? seeing the speech of all Israel is come to the king, even to his house. 12 Ye are my brethren, ye are my bones and my flesh: wherefore then are ye the last to bring back the king? 13 And say ye to Amasa, Art thou not of my bone, and of my flesh? God do so to me, and more also, if thou be not captain of the host before me continually in the room of Joab. 14 And he bowed the heart of all the men of Judah, even as the heart of one man; so that they sent this word unto the king, Return thou, and all thy servants. 15 So the king returned, and came to Jordan. And Judah came to Gilgal, to go to meet the king, to conduct the king over Jordan. 16 ¶ And Shimei the son of Gera, a Benjamite, which was of Bahurim, hasted and came down with the men of Judah to meet king David. 17 And there were a thousand men of Benjamin with him, and Ziba the servant of the house of Saul, and his fifteen sons and his twenty servants with him; and they went over Jordan before the king. 18 And there went over a ferry boat to carry over the king's household, and to do what he thought good. And Shimei the son of Gera fell down before the king, as he was come over Jordan; 19 And said unto the king, Let not my lord impute iniquity unto me, neither do thou remember that which thy servant did perversely the day that my lord the king went out of Jerusalem, that the king should take it to his heart. 20 For thy servant doth know that I have sinned: therefore, behold, I am come the first this day of all the house of Joseph to go down to meet my lord the king. 21 But Abishai the son of Zeruiah answered and said, Shall not Shimei be put to death for this, because he cursed the LORD'S anointed? 22 And David said, What have I to do with you, ye sons of Zeruiah, that ye should this day be adversaries unto me? shall there any man be put to death this day in Israel? for do not I know that I am this day king over Israel? 23 Therefore the king said unto Shimei, Thou shalt not die. And the king sware unto him. 24 ¶ And Mephibosheth the son of Saul came down to meet the king, and had neither dressed his feet, nor trimmed his beard, nor washed his clothes, from the day the king departed until the day he came again in peace. 25 And it came to pass, when he was come to Jerusalem to meet the king, that the king said unto him, Wherefore wentest not thou with me, Mephibosheth? 26 And he answered, My lord, O king, my servant deceived me: for thy servant said, I will saddle me an ass, that I may ride thereon, and go to the king; because thy servant is lame. 27 And he hath slandered thy servant unto my lord the king; but my lord the king is as an angel of God: do therefore what is good in thine eyes. 28 For all of my father's house were but dead men before my lord the king: yet didst thou set thy servant among them that did eat at thine own table. What right therefore have I yet to cry any more unto the king? 29 And the king said unto him, Why speakest thou any more of thy matters? I have said, Thou and Ziba divide the land. 30 And Mephibosheth said unto the king, Yea, let him take all, forasmuch as my lord the king is come again in peace unto his own house. 31 ¶ And Barzillai the Gileadite came down from Rogelim, and went over Jordan with the king, to conduct him over Jordan. 32 Now Barzillai was a very aged man, even fourscore years old: and he had provided the king of sustenance while he lay at Mahanaim; for he was a very great man. 33 And the king said unto Barzillai, Come thou over with me, and I will feed thee with me in Jerusalem. 34 And Barzillai said unto the king, How long have I to live, that I should go up with the king unto Jerusalem? 35 I am this day fourscore years old: and can I discern between good and evil? can thy servant taste what I eat or what I drink? can I hear any more the voice of singing men and singing women? wherefore then should thy servant be yet a burden unto my lord the king? 36 Thy servant will go a little way over Jordan with the king: and why should the king recompense it me with such a reward? 37 Let thy servant, I pray thee, turn back again, that I may die in mine own city, and be buried by the grave of my father and of my mother. But behold thy servant Chimham; let him go over with my lord the king; and do to him what shall seem good unto thee. 38 And the king answered, Chimham shall go over with me, and I will do to him that which shall seem good unto thee: and whatsoever thou shalt require of me, that will I do for thee. 39 And all the people went over Jordan. And when the king was come over, the king kissed Barzillai, and blessed him; and he returned unto his own place. 40 Then the king went on to Gilgal, and Chimham went on with him: and all the people of Judah conducted the king, and also half the people of Israel. 41 ¶ And, behold, all the men of Israel came to the king, and said unto the king, Why have our brethren the men of Judah stolen thee away, and have brought the king, and his household, and all David's men with him, over Jordan? 42 And all the men of Judah answered the men of Israel, Because the king is near of kin to us: wherefore then be ye angry for this matter? have we eaten at all of the king's cost? or hath he given us any gift? 43 And the men of Israel answered the men of Judah, and said, We have ten parts in the king, and we have also more right in David than ye: why then did ye despise us, that our advice should not be first had in bringing back our king? And the words of the men of Judah were fiercer than the words of the men of Israel.

Let Him Express Himself Through You!

"And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon’s porch." Acts 5:12

God can use you if you let Him; He can do anything through you if you yield yourself to Him. He has already blessed you and made you a blessing; now He seeks to bless the world through you. He needs you as much as you need Him. As you study the scriptures, you’ll become more and more acquainted with how much the Lord needs you, for only through you can He show forth His goodness, grace, wisdom, and excellence to the world. He longs to express Himself through His children.

The natural or unregenerate man can’t know who God is until they meet you, for He has chosen to express His will and nature to your world through you. The Apostle Paul said in 2 Corinthians 5:19, “To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.” God manifested Himself to the world through Jesus Christ. However, before His glorious ascension, in John 14:16, Jesus said He’d ask the Father to send us “another comforter,” who would abide with us forever; and the Father did (Acts 2:4).

The Holy Spirit lives in you today, and so everywhere you are, you can manifest the life of Christ! Men don’t see the Holy Spirit, but they see you, for you’re His perfect icon; you’ve become a “Christ-in-you” man or woman. He laughs, smiles, blesses, and touches the world through you. He even prays and intercedes through you: “Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit Himself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered” (Romans 8:26). He expresses the God-life and His faith through us. Through active participation in God’s number one job, which is soul winning, you’d experience more manifestations of His love and character in you. That’s what Christianity really is; you’re a dispenser or distributor of the blessings of God.

CONFESSION:

I’m God’s outstretched arm; His expression of help, healing, deliverance and salvation to the world. I’m a blessing to my generation and a conveyor of the glories, graces, and excellencies of divinity. Blessed be God!

FURTHER STUDY:

Hosea 12:13 "And by a prophet the LORD brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he preserved"

Jeremiah 51:20 "Thou art my battle axe and weapons of war: for with thee will I break in pieces the nations, and with thee will I destroy kingdoms."

Rhapsody of Realities Pastor Chris

Don’t Look At The Outward Appearance - Wednesday, May 1st, 2013 - Pastor Chris

For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal (2 Corinthians 4:17-18).

An important characteristic of strong faith is that it doesn’t look at the outward appearance of things; it doesn’t consider physical circumstances. Jesus refused to consider the fact that Lazarus was dead, even though He had previously said that Lazarus’ sickness wouldn’t lead to death (John 11:4). That the man eventually died, and had been buried for four days didn’t make any difference to Jesus because His faith was focused on His spoken Word. He knew that the Father heard His faith-filled words.

Now, watch what the Master did: He called Lazarus out from the grave, just as you’d call out someone sleeping in a room next to you. That’s faith. With faith, there’s no such thing as "hopeless" or "an impossible situation." Nothing is impossible, because anything is possible! In the faith arena, you don’t give up.

Men give up when they base their judgments and perceptions on sense evidence. The natural man’s senses, for instance, have been trained to say, "I have stomach pain," just because he felt pain in his stomach. He’s been trained to recognize fear and say, "I’m scared"; he’s been trained to recognize lack and say, "I’m broke." However, faith speaks in conformity with God’s Word. So, you may say, "I feel headaches, but I’m healed." You must emphasize your healing and health. Never let your feelings control you or the circumstances of your life. What you feel must not control or dictate what you have or are in the Word.

It makes no difference what you see, hear, or feel; it makes no difference how negative or impossible things may look in the natural; keep confessing the Word! The Word of faith in your mouth produces results. Therefore, refuse to consider circumstances or recognize impossibilities.

Confession

The wisdom of God is at work in me, and my faith is alive! My opinions, judgments, and responses are not according to what my natural senses perceive, but according to the Word. My life is the daily expression of the Word of God, in the Name of Jesus.

Further Study

Romans 8:6

For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Romans 4:19-21

And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

Daily Scripture Reading

1 Year Reading Plan : Luke 24:13-35,

13And, behold, two of them went that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was from Jerusalem about threescore furlongs.14And they talked together of all these things which had happened.15And it came to pass, that, while they communed together and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them.16But their eyes were holden that they should not know him.17And he said unto them, What manner of communications are these that ye have one to another, as ye walk, and are sad?18And the one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answering said unto him, Art thou only a stranger in Jerusalem, and hast not known the things which are come to pass there in these days?19And he said unto them, What things? And they said unto him, Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, which was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people:20And how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him to be condemned to death, and have crucified him.21But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were done.22Yea, and certain women also of our company made us astonished, which were early at the sepulchre;23And when they found not his body, they came, saying, that they had also seen a vision of angels, which said that he was alive.24And certain of them which were with us went to the sepulchre, and found it even so as the women had said: but him they saw not.25Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:26Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?27And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.28And they drew nigh unto the village, whither they went: and he made as though he would have gone further.29But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry with them.30And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them.31And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.32And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?33And they rose up the same hour, and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven gathered together, and them that were with them,34Saying, The Lord is risen indeed, and hath appeared to Simon.35And they told what things were done in the way, and how he was known of them in breaking of bread.

2 Samuel 9

1And David said, Is there yet any that is left of the house of Saul, that I may shew him kindness for Jonathan's sake?2And there was of the house of Saul a servant whose name was Ziba. And when they had called him unto David, the king said unto him, Art thou Ziba? And he said, Thy servant is he.3And the king said, Is there not yet any of the house of Saul, that I may shew the kindness of God unto him? And Ziba said unto the king, Jonathan hath yet a son, which is lame on his feet.4And the king said unto him, Where is he? And Ziba said unto the king, Behold, he is in the house of Machir, the son of Ammiel, in Lo–debar.5Then king David sent, and fetched him out of the house of Machir, the son of Ammiel, from Lo–debar.6Now when Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, was come unto David, he fell on his face, and did reverence. And David said, Mephibosheth. And he answered, Behold thy servant!7And David said unto him, Fear not: for I will surely shew thee kindness for Jonathan thy father's sake, and will restore thee all the land of Saul thy father; and thou shalt eat bread at my table continually.8And he bowed himself, and said, What is thy servant, that thou shouldest look upon such a dead dog as I am?9Then the king called to Ziba, Saul's servant, and said unto him, I have given unto thy master's son all that pertained to Saul and to all his house.10Thou therefore, and thy sons, and thy servants, shall till the land for him, and thou shalt bring in the fruits, that thy master's son may have food to eat: but Mephibosheth thy master's son shall eat bread alway at my table. Now Ziba had fifteen sons and twenty servants.11Then said Ziba unto the king, According to all that my lord the king hath commanded his servant, so shall thy servant do. As for Mephibosheth, said the king, he shall eat at my table, as one of the king's sons.12And Mephibosheth had a young son, whose name was Micha. And all that dwelt in the house of Ziba were servants unto Mephibosheth.13So Mephibosheth dwelt in Jerusalem: for he did eat continually at the king's table; and was lame on both his feet.

2 Samuel 10.

1And it came to pass after this, that the king of the children of Ammon died, and Hanun his son reigned in his stead.2Then said David, I will shew kindness unto Hanun the son of Nahash, as his father shewed kindness unto me. And David sent to comfort him by the hand of his servants for his father. And David's servants came into the land of the children of Ammon.3And the princes of the children of Ammon said unto Hanun their lord, Thinkest thou that David doth honour thy father, that he hath sent comforters unto thee? hath not David rather sent his servants unto thee, to search the city, and to spy it out, and to overthrow it?4Wherefore Hanun took David's servants, and shaved off the one half of their beards, and cut off their garments in the middle, even to their buttocks, and sent them away.5When they told it unto David, he sent to meet them, because the men were greatly ashamed: and the king said, Tarry at Jericho until your beards be grown, and then return.6And when the children of Ammon saw that they stank before David, the children of Ammon sent and hired the Syrians of Beth–rehob, and the Syrians of Zoba, twenty thousand footmen, and of king Maacah a thousand men, and of Ish–tob twelve thousand men.7And when David heard of it, he sent Joab, and all the host of the mighty men.8And the children of Ammon came out, and put the battle in array at the entering in of the gate: and the Syrians of Zoba, and of Rehob, and Ish–tob, and Maacah, were by themselves in the field.9When Joab saw that the front of the battle was against him before and behind, he chose of all the choice men of Israel, and put them in array against the Syrians:10And the rest of the people he delivered into the hand of Abishai his brother, that he might put them in array against the children of Ammon.11And he said, If the Syrians be too strong for me, then thou shalt help me: but if the children of Ammon be too strong for thee, then I will come and help thee.12Be of good courage, and let us play the men for our people, and for the cities of our God: and the Lord do that which seemeth him good.13And Joab drew nigh, and the people that were with him, unto the battle against the Syrians: and they fled before him.14And when the children of Ammon saw that the Syrians were fled, then fled they also before Abishai, and entered into the city. So Joab returned from the children of Ammon, and came to Jerusalem.15And when the Syrians saw that they were smitten before Israel, they gathered themselves together.16And Hadarezer sent, and brought out the Syrians that were beyond the river: and they came to Helam; and Shobach the captain of the host of Hadarezer went before them.17And when it was told David, he gathered all Israel together, and passed over Jordan, and came to Helam. And the Syrians set themselves in array against David, and fought with him.18And the Syrians fled before Israel; and David slew the men of seven hundred chariots of the Syrians, and forty thousand horsemen, and smote Shobach the captain of their host, who died there.19And when all the kings that were servants to Hadarezer saw that they were smitten before Israel, they made peace with Israel, and served them. So the Syrians feared to help the children of Ammon any more.

2 Samuel 11

1And it came to pass, after the year was expired, at the time when kings go forth to battle, that David sent Joab, and his servants with him, and all Israel; and they destroyed the children of Ammon, and besieged Rabbah. But David tarried still at Jerusalem.2And it came to pass in an eveningtide, that David arose from off his bed, and walked upon the roof of the king's house: and from the roof he saw a woman washing herself; and the woman was very beautiful to look upon.3And David sent and enquired after the woman. And one said, Is not this Bath–sheba, the daughter of Eliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittite?4And David sent messengers, and took her; and she came in unto him, and he lay with her; for she was purified from her uncleanness: and she returned unto her house.5And the woman conceived, and sent and told David, and said, I am with child.6And David sent to Joab, saying, Send me Uriah the Hittite. And Joab sent Uriah to David.7And when Uriah was come unto him, David demanded of him how Joab did, and how the people did, and how the war prospered.8And David said to Uriah, Go down to thy house, and wash thy feet. And Uriah departed out of the king's house, and there followed him a mess of meat from the king.9But Uriah slept at the door of the king's house with all the servants of his lord, and went not down to his house.10And when they had told David, saying, Uriah went not down unto his house, David said unto Uriah, Camest thou not from thy journey? why then didst thou not go down unto thine house?11And Uriah said unto David, The ark, and Israel, and Judah, abide in tents; and my lord Joab, and the servants of my lord, are encamped in the open fields; shall I then go into mine house, to eat and to drink, and to lie with my wife? as thou livest, and as thy soul liveth, I will not do this thing.12And David said to Uriah, Tarry here to day also, and to morrow I will let thee depart. So Uriah abode in Jerusalem that day, and the morrow.13And when David had called him, he did eat and drink before him; and he made him drunk: and at even he went out to lie on his bed with the servants of his lord, but went not down to his house.14And it came to pass in the morning, that David wrote a letter to Joab, and sent it by the hand of Uriah.15And he wrote in the letter, saying, Set ye Uriah in the forefront of the hottest battle, and retire ye from him, that he may be smitten, and die.16And it came to pass, when Joab observed the city, that he assigned Uriah unto a place where he knew that valiant men were.17And the men of the city went out, and fought with Joab: and there fell some of the people of the servants of David; and Uriah the Hittite died also.18Then Joab sent and told David all the things concerning the war;19And charged the messenger, saying, When thou hast made an end of telling the matters of the war unto the king,20And if so be that the king's wrath arise, and he say unto thee, Wherefore approached ye so nigh unto the city when ye did fight? knew ye not that they would shoot from the wall?21Who smote Abimelech the son of Jerubbesheth? did not a woman cast a piece of a millstone upon him from the wall, that he died in Thebez? why went ye nigh the wall? then say thou, Thy servant Uriah the Hittite is dead also.22So the messenger went, and came and shewed David all that Joab had sent him for.23And the messenger said unto David, Surely the men prevailed against us, and came out unto us into the field, and we were upon them even unto the entering of the gate.24And the shooters shot from off the wall upon thy servants; and some of the king's servants be dead, and thy servant Uriah the Hittite is dead also.25Then David said unto the messenger, Thus shalt thou say unto Joab, Let not this thing displease thee, for the sword devoureth one as well as another: make thy battle more strong against the city, and overthrow it: and encourage thou him.26And when the wife of Uriah heard that Uriah her husband was dead, she mourned for her husband.27And when the mourning was past, David sent and fetched her to his house, and she became his wife, and bare him a son. But the thing that David had done displeased the Lord.

www.rhapsodyofrealities.org

JUST BECAUSE...

Just because you prayed, you thought everything would suddenly change…

Just because you declared the word once, twice, or even thrice…

Just because you spent a day in fasting and prayer, you walked out the door expecting everything to turn out differently.

And just because it didn’t happen the way you said it would when you said it would, you got discouraged!

Just because the storms got fiercer, the waves soared, the skies darkened after you prayed…

You cried and said praying was of no use…

Just because…

I’ve been there, you probably have too.

Everything was ‘peaceful’ till you started to pray.

Nothing extreme seemed to be happening, till you got serious about declaring the word.

And then, it seemed the burden got heavier, the tunnel got darker, like the night got darkest…

Just when you prayed, your child seemed to sink deeper into crack…

Just when you prayed, the creditors called you up to let you know they were going to mess up your peaceful world… They would make you sorry!

Just when you prayed, you looked at the empty seats and wondered where the souls you saw (while you prayed) would be attending your church services that day went to…

Just when you prayed!

Just when you prayed, the pain seemed to get all the more unbearable; you wondered if the cancer was actually leaving your body…

Just when you prayed, you stood and watched another clump of hair, weakened by chemotherapy, fall in the bathtub…

Just when you prayed!

Just when you prayed, your husband seemed to sink deeper into sin, he wasn’t even coming home like he was before you prayed…

Just when you prayed!

Just when you prayed the SMS came in; your grades weren’t good, your student loan was due, your rent was due…

You hadn’t noticed all this as intensely as you did, just when you prayed…

It reminds me of something I read up once.

’Let us go over unto the other side…”

The Master had spoken; excited they set sail, expecting to get to the other side without much ado.

And as they went, ‘waves poured into the boat, threatening to sink it’ (Mark 4:37 The Message)

Huh? Hadn’t the Master spoken?

They panicked. Didn’t he care that they were going down? He just lay down there, sleeping!

They asked what you may be asking now, ‘…Is it nothing to you that I am facing all this? Do you really care Lord?’

‘Does this pain matter to you? I’ve been through so many rounds of chemo…’

‘All these bills Lord; I’m so behind on my mortgage… I don’t even sleep at night anymore’

‘Abandoned with three young kids, does it even matter to you Lord?’

‘I know you called me, but I’m not seeing the results I expect in ministry. Does it even matter to you Lord? I can’t take one more Sunday with empty pews…’

Just when I thought things were going to get better, they seem to be getting worse…

I can barely sit still as I see how He responded…

‘He told the wind to pipe down and said to the sea, “Quiet! Settle down!” The wind ran out of breath; the sea became smooth as glass…’ (Mark 4:40 The Message)

The wind ran out of breath, the sea became smooth as glass…. Wow!!!! I mean W.O.W!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously, the winds you are seeing are nothing! Something DID happen when you prayed.

Just smile and tell the wind, ‘Quiet! Settle down!’

Hear me clearly, it is IMPOSSIBLE for God to lie!

If He said, things change when we pray, that’s all the assurance you need.

I’ve got news for you; “your marriage is not over, your husband is coming to his senses, he is coming home!”

“That cancer won’t kill you; people are going to come to you from the ends of the earth to ask you how you got healed!”

“You are going to graduate; NO the loans won’t overwhelm you, no, you won’t drop out, no your dreams to graduate from college won’t go unfulfilled!”

In whatever you are facing today, the wind is going to run out of breath, you will see…!

Don’t cower in fear when you see the waves, just start dancing, they show you that you are actually heading somewhere…

Your prayers are working…

Let me remind you today, just because you prayed, something actually happened!

THE WORD SEED

...the seed is the word of God (Luke 8:11)

We speak the Word sometimes and it looks like nothing has happened. People look at us and they don’t even know anything has changed about our status.

Like you, maybe you’ve been speaking the Word over your life for days, weeks or even months and it looks like nothing has happened.

What if a pregnant woman in her 34th week woke up one day and said, “What’s with this seed I received???? I thought I was pregnant, but where is the baby?! IT’S BEEN 34 WEEKS!!!!!”

Do you see where I am going?

You don’t see the baby yet, but sure enough it’s there…

You don’t see the money, the job, the notification (or whatever it is you are expecting) yet… but it’s there… it’s there… it’s there…

Like the expectant mother, keep nurturing it…

A pregnant woman isn’t found everywhere… she

doesn’t eat just anything; some foods can harm her baby, some environments can make her baby come out differently…

And so for all of those 40 weeks till she holds the

baby in her hands she eats right, she drinks right, she takes the right pills. She doesn’t see the baby yet BUT she knows something has been planted and is growing so she MUST nurture it.

You’ve planted the Word; in that right atmosphere you declared you weren’t barren, you called yourself a mother of many…

In the secret place where He spoke to you, you knew

you were going to get married to the right man. You knew God was bringing the man He had for you your way…

In that right atmosphere you called all your bills paid, you took hold of the grace that made you rich… You knew that you knew that you knew that you were rich!

In that right environment, you knew that the work of your hands would prosper.

Now just because you don’t see anything physically you want to stop?

And just because you’ve faced a few challenges and

rough times you think the Word doesn’t work.

How dare you?

How dare you give up on you?

How dare you give up so easily on the greatness in you?!

The seed is the word of God….

Wake up! Let the giant in you arise! Make up your mind you are going to birth that baby, make up your mind you are going to birth that dream, make up your mind your money is going to bless lives!

No, you are not going to end up defeated, you are going to nurture the Word you’ve spoken till you see your desires granted. You are not going to stop halfway; same way a pregnant woman is tenacious through any unpleasant experiences she encounters, you are going to hold on to the Word till you give birth!

Don’t feel discouraged, you know what others don’t. They may still call you, ‘that broke guy…’

They may still call you up to say, “whenever are you going to get married?”

They may still call you up and harass you and nastily

tell your husband, “why did you get married to a ‘man’ who can’t even carry a child for us?’

Now’s not the time to cry.

Get out of that environment, the poisonous smoke they emit will harm your baby.

Stop the pity party, it may make the gestation period longer than you need it to be.

Stop looking around you and saying, ‘it’s not

working.’ You really shouldn’t be eating that stuff.

Keep your gaze on the Word of God; stick with what He says about you.

Then get excited about what you carry!!!!

Whoever you are reading this today, get excited ab

out you!!!!

Your future is bright because you have Him.

Trust me, trust God when the story is told you will

come out on top; you will be the one with the last laugh…

Remember, He ALWAYS – Not sometimes, not fifty-

fifty, not only if you are in a particular continent – No, He ALWAYS causes us to triumph and spreads everywhere through us, the fragrance of the knowledge of Him… (2 Corinthians 2:14)

That’s how this particular test is going to end, so get excited about your life today and speak the Word…!

RHAPSODY TODAY 15/02/13

Pastor Anita admonishes us today to re-programme our minds. Pastor Chris preaching at the International School Ministry in his message titled "Learning about Ministry" that there is one God, one love and one faith. As stated in Romans 12 where Pastor Anita reads today, we are members of one body, which is the body of Jesus Christ. There is therefore no denomination/separation/classification according to race, sex, nationality, colour etc in Christ. Pastor Chris said there is no UK, European, Asian, American and African christian. He said if you classify yourself based on your countriy's of origin, colour, sex etc, calamities, curses and challenges that attack the class of people with whom we are categorising yourself will attack you too. He says for example, if people who come from the area which you are calling yourself as belonging to are vulnerable and often suffer from malaria, you too will be vulnerable and suffer from it because you belong with them. Pastor Chris said of course we must love our countries, cultures, be patriotic but remember that we belong to the body of Christ. Those who belong to the body of Christ only live one lifestyle. They live, think, act differently from people of this world. we are in this world but we are not of this world. Pastor said now that you are born again, re-culture yourself. He said think different and think above your culture (your human nature). That is the re-programming that Pastor Anita is talking about today! We are matamorphosed, changed, renewed in our minds by deliberately and purposefully meditating on the word of God and speaking consistent with the word of God. Let me hear what you understand about today's message.

He says we must take speaking in tongues seriously this year!. We must be on fire for Jesus! He says when you feel weak from within, speak in other tongues! When you have tough choices and decisions to make, spend time to speak in tongues first! when you don't know what to do or how to handle challenges, pray in tongues! You will receive direction as to what to do and how to do it. wow!
