Thought For The Day

LIVE THE 'MUCH MORE' LIFE!- The more we believe in His grace, the more we will reign over all forms of death!

Romans 5:17
For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ…

When God created man, He did not intend for man to grow old, become weak and powerless, suffer diseases and die — first the physical death, then the second or eternal death.

God never meant for man to go through all these and for death to reign. But because of one man’s offense — that man being Adam — death reigns.

The ultimate death is the second or eternal death in the lake of fire. Before this death is physical death. Before physical death, you have diseases and illnesses. Not all diseases and illnesses lead to death, but they are manifestations of death. One step before diseases and illnesses is tiredness, weakness and powerlessness, which are signs and symptoms of death. Now, all these are forms of death. As you can see, death reigns!

Are you resigned to the fact that death can strike whoever, whenever and wherever it wishes? Are you allowing death to reign in your life and in the lives of your loved ones? Or are you allowing God’s Word to tell you the truth about death?

“For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more… ” Thank God for the “much more”! What Jesus, the last Adam, did is much more and far greater than what the first Adam did. We are those who have received the “abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness”. Therefore, our “much more” is that we will reign in life through Jesus Christ!

God considers death an enemy. He came to destroy death and give us eternal life. And the more we walk in the grace of God and His righteousness, the more we will reign in life. The more we believe in His grace or undeserved favor, and the more we know that we have been made righteous by His blood and not our good behavior, the more we will reign over all forms of death!

(Scriptural Ref:<>Psalm 90:1).
Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations.

In this day and age, when there’s so much trouble and crisis, with an overwhelming spread of evil around the world, many are thinking, “Is there hope? Does God still protect; does He still care about us?” First, as Christians, we’re victors and not victims; the Lord Jesus assured us that though we may face crises and tribulations in the world, in Him we have peace, assurance, safety and security (John 16:33).

When you study Psalm 91, you’d understand God’s divine plan for His children in a tempestuous world. The first verse is so inspiring, it says, “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” Here, he’s talking about your location in the Spirit; your dwelling place: you dwell in Him. Therefore, you’re under the shadow, that is, the cover or protection, of the Almighty God.

It’s important that you understand a little more about “dwelling in the secret place of the Most High.” Where is the secret place of the Most High? The next verse (Psalm 91:2) captures this: “I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.” That means, He, the Lord, is that secret place, because He is your refuge and your fortress.” Accordingly, dwelling in the secret place of the most high means dwelling in God!

Over in the New Testament, the Apostle Paul, by the Spirit, tells us, “…if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature…” (2 Corinthians 5:17). Notice the underlined phrase, “in Christ,” showing us that Christ is that secret place; Christ is that dwelling place. To be in Christ is to dwell in the secret place of the most high. Christ is a person—the Man Christ Jesus—but Christ is also a place in God. Therefore, refuse to fear. You’re shielded from harm, evil and destruction because you dwell in Him. In Him you live, and move, and have your being. “A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee” (Psalms 91:7).

Dear Father, I thank you for the glorious presence of your Spirit in and around me, and the heavenly atmosphere of bliss and victory that surrounds me. Thank you for your divine presence that shields me from harm, and protects me against evil and violence, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Isaiah 43:2(KJV)
2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

Isaiah 43:2(AMP)
2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned or scorched, nor will the flame kindle upon you.

John 16:33(KJV)
33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

John 16:33(AMP)
33 I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]

Love The Lord with all your heart. Its a beautiful life to live!

Happy people are healthy people! This statement is
more than just a cliché; it’s actually supported by
the Scriptures. Some men are of the illusion that
masculinity and cheerfulness don’t mix; they
assume that being a man means they have to be
very serious all the time. Some others are afraid to
laugh; if they caught themselves laughing, they’ll
quickly stop. “How could I have been laughing?;
Something is wrong with me”, they would reason
within themselves. Such people always have tales
of sickness, sorrow and pain.
Interestingly, one very important remedy for sick
people to change their situation and receive their
healing is to laugh! The Bible says in Proverbs
17:22, “If you are cheerful, you feel good, if you are
sad, you will hurt all over” (CEV). You have to learn
to laugh even when you don’t feel like it. The devil
will ask you: “why are you laughing? Can’t you see
all the problems you are faced with?” Don’t pay
attention to him; you are simply acting on the Word
of God.
God, in all His majesty and supremacy laughs. He
is not a sadist who is always frowning and looking
serious all the time. The Bible says, “In heaven He
laughs as He sits on the throne…” (Psalm 2:4 CEV).
So, if the one who owns the whole world can laugh,
why shouldn’t you?
When you make this a very important part of your
life, your body will always be healthy and you will
always have joy of in your spirit.
It may start superficially, but don’t stop until it gets
into your spirit. People may think you are out of
your mind, but they don’t count. When you laugh
more, your environment will become more
conducive for the Holy Spirit to work in your life.
Glory to God!

And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free (John 8:32).

Jesus used the word "ginosko" for "know" in the scripture above, making it clear to us that the revelation knowledge of the truth that you have is what makes you free. However, revelation without involvement or participation can lead to frustration.

1 Timothy 4:3 talks about those who "...believe and know the truth." Then, we read in our opening verse, "Ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free." These two portions of Scripture actually describe two different groups of people.
John 8:32 talks about those who know the truth and, as a result, have become free. Whereas, in 1 Timothy 4:3 the Apostle Paul is referring to those who have gone beyond merely knowing the truth and becoming free, to having a higher revelation concerning the truth that they've come to know. He uses the Greek word "Epiginosko" for "know" in that verse. This is knowledge that unites the one who knows with what he knows.

The Apostle Paul's opening address to the brethren at Colosse in Colossians 1:6 gives us a clearer picture. It talks about the Gospel bringing forth fruit in them since the day they heard of it, and "...knew the grace of God in truth." That word "knew," again, is "epiginosko"; it's the kind of knowledge that unites the knower and what he knows. It's knowledge with involvement.

Here's where some folks have missed it, and become frustrated, in spite of all that they seem to know. They've been Christians a long time, and can tell you about all the various "revivals" and "moves of the Spirit" that have taken place since the history of the Church. However, their lives don't show that they know anything. Such folks need to have a relationship with the truth; they need to have revelation with involvement-a union with the truth; that's what will produce greater results in your life.

Dear Father, thank you for granting me insights and understanding of your Word which is truth. The more I know you, the more I want to know and love you. Thank you for the privilege of fellowship with you; a fellowship that guarantees my victory, success and prosperity every day of my life, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Evans makes comeback in Manchester United Under-21s game

The centre-back has not featured since picking up a calf injury in early February, but returned to action at Old Trafford on Monday evening for the Red Devils' youth side

Manchester United defender Jonny Evans stepped up his recovery from injury by playing over an hour for the club's Under-21 side at Old Trafford on Monday.

Evans has missed 12 first-team matches with a calf injury picked up during United's 2-1 Premier League loss at Stoke City on February 1.

He played 65 minutes for Warren Joyce's youth side, who beat Aston Villa 3-0 in front of manager David Moyes and first-team coach Phil Neville.

Highly-rated 18-year-old striker James Wilson opened the scoring two days after being named among the substitutes for the senior side's 4-0 win at Newcastle.

Wilson did not get off the bench at St James' Park but ensured he will stay in Moyes' thoughts by firing home a left-footed strike from distance.

Joe Rothwell and Saidy Janko completed the scoring, before Evans was replaced by Donald Love after the hour mark.

Be careful how you use words.
Wrong thinking gives birth to wrong words.

Don't say what is happening.
You are a king. Don't just say what is happening. Say what you want to happen.
Create it. You are a creator.
If you keep saying what  are seeing you will make them real.and it makes no diffrence who tries to help you

he can not because you have created them in the realm of the spirit.

1 Corinthians 2:6-12
Too many people are speaking of wisdom, but not speaking wisdom.
Speaking the wisdom of God means speaking the word of God.

Don't accept someone taking you to their human level.
You are in the class of God.

Dear Father, I thank you for granting me wisdom by the Spirit and through the Word. I deal excellently in all my affairs today, walking in your perfect will and guided in the path of righteousness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

I function at a high level of precision, excellence and perfection because the wisdom of God is at work in me; having been endowed with all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge in Christ, Halleluiah.

I walk in love because its my nature. Therefore, I express love, tenderness, compassion and grace to everyone I meet today, showing them the warmth of the Father, to the end that they might receive and share His love, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

I thank you, dear heavenly Father, for the abundant supply of your grace to every minister of the Gospel around the world today; that they may walk in your perfect will and fulfil their calling, to the praise and glory of your Name, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Dear Father, your Word has enriched me with the right mind-set—the mind-set of the righteous—such that my response to circumstances and situations are from the standpoint of victory! Thank you for your wisdom that’s at work in me to function with the dominion of the Spirit, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
