Ephesians 3:20 MSG God can do anything, you know-- far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us.
In the old testament the Israelites were given a number of laws that they were to follow, and if the broke one of them they would have broken them all. PastorTendai in a meeting with Pastor Ruth, said such is with us Pastor Chris by the spirit said we should participate on yookos so I do. Its so amaizing how much God blesses you when you take heed of instructions.
I now understand why someone posted Shout Glory A Gazillion Times... I am deep in astonishment right now of a mail I just received in my Yookos inbox that has showed me that I have now discovered my riches in a split second. Pastor Ed is my Man of God, my Life Coach and my Father, I dont know about you. But that service that he said by the spirit that you are going to have mind blowing miracles. It has materialised in my life today...
“While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest… shall not cease” (Genesis 8:22) The above Scripture was God’s solemn declaration to Noah, his household and to all creation after the flood. It elucidates the kingdom principle which states that when I sow my seed, I have every right to expect a harvest from it. The Scripture says ‘seedtime and harvest’ and not ‘seedtime and harvest time.’ Meaning that there is a specific time to sow in order to activate God’s anointing on your behalf for a multiplied and sustained harvest. Isaac dwelt in the land of Gerar (Genesis 26:6); a land already ravaged by famine. When everyone left town for Egypt- the land of corn and wine, Isaac was moved to do the same; he had forgotten that Abraham, his father, prospered wherever he went, irrespective of the prevailing economic conditions. Just when he was about to leave Gerar, God spoke to him: “do as I say and stay in this land. If you do, I will be with you and bless you… just as I promised Abraham your father’ (Genesis 26:3 TLB). “Then Isaac sowed in the land and received in the same year an hundredfold…” (Genesis 26:12-13). He recognized the seed time and thus he prospered the rest of his days. When the city of Zarephath experienced a severe famine because there hadn’t been rainfall, a poor widow came to the city gates and gathered sticks to prepare her last meal. As she was doing that, Prophet Elijah showed up and demanded for the same meal she had hoped to prepare for herself and her son. When she sowed her seed (the meal), she lived the rest of her days in plenty. Imagine if she had refused to give the meal to the prophet, she would have missed her seed time and would have starved to death with her son. Train yourself to respond promptly to God’s instruction to sow. Recognize that you are in partnership with God and get it working by faith.
I was actively involved in soul winning even while I was a student, and back then, I had many of my colleagues ask me, are you going into full time ministry? ‘I am already a minister of the gospel’, was always my response.
You see, where you are and what you are doing now is not what really matters.
There is nothing you are in this world that would be forever.
You can only be a student for a while; and if you are a teacher, doctor or business man, you will retire at some time. But if you have received Christ into your life and are born again, then you are a full time minister of the gospel of Christ.
Christianity is not something we do, its who we are.
Your gender isn’t something that you qualify for, it’s what you are.
A true Christian is a man that has discovered his true reason for living.
Such a man doesn’t care about where he is, because he knows he could find himself anywhere, and at any time.
Just like Philip who had abandoned himself to God, and God was free to take him any where (Acts 8:39).
So, let all of your energy and strength be channeled into one thing: leading men to Christ.
This should be the mentality of every Christian.
If the essence of your career is not about reaching people for Jesus, it is worthless! You are not just in business to make money, you are there to reach the world for Jesus!
The Lord Jesus paid the ultimate price for your salvation and brought you into the transcendent life-the life of Glory. He was scourged with those terrible Roman whips, spat on, slapped, beaten and was finally crucified on the cross. While all these happened,
He was focused on the Glory that should follow His suffering.
The end result of all the suffering of the Master is the life of Glory He has brought you into.
This is that day and hour that the Spirit of God, through the prophets of old signified when they testified of the sufferings of Christ and the Glory that should follow.
Since He was successful in His mission of bearing sins, sickness and pains, it means you have been successfully translated into the Glorious life.
You have absolutely no reason to suffer another day in your life!
You don’t have to be broke, sad or sick anymore because the Glory has come!
Now not only did God call you to walk in His Glory, He also went a step further by making you His Glory: “but we all with open face beholding as in a glass (mirror), the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from Glory to Glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord” (2 Corinthians 2:18). When you look into the mirror, the image you see is your reflection.
Thus the Apostle Paul in the scripture above wants you to know you are the Glory.
