Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place (2 Corinthians 2:14).

One Bible character that inspires me greatly is King David; there’s so much about him in Scriptures that’s so inspiring. He was a very successful king, who never lost a battle. The only time Israel ever lost a battle in David’s day was when he didn’t go. How could a man be so successful? Click the link below for the full article.

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the broken-hearted,to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord (Luke 4:18-19).

It's not enough that you're preaching a message about Jesus Christ; it's got to be "good news," for if it's not "good news" then it's not Gospel. The Gospel of Christ makes sinners righteous! It catapults the poor from obscurity, penury, and misery to a life of prosperity, glory, and excellence. It's the Click the link below for the full article.

I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine justpersons, which need no repentance (Luke 15:7).

Many people give attention to things that aren’t so important. They strive all their lives to be famous and gain human recognition, but these don’t last. “As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth. For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more” Click the link below for the full article.

Scriptural Ref: Mathew 3:16

And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him (Matthew 3:16).

A lack of proper understanding of the verse above has led many Christians to symbolize or represent the Holy Spirit with a dove. However, neither this scripture nor any other likens or typifies the Holy Spirit as a dove; He's not a dove. Acts 17:30 says "And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent. Click the link below for the full article.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof (Proverbs 18:21).

Genesis 1 shows us how God spoke the Word in recreating and restoring order to the earth after it became a dark chaotic mass. He showed us an important example to follow. When Jesus walked the streets in Bible days, He did exactly the same thing; He lived as the Word, by the Word, and in the Word. Everything He did was Click the link below for the full article.

But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you (Romans 8:11).

Our opening verse is such a powerful revelation from the Word of God. However, many have only related to it as though it’s a mere promise; but it isn’t a promise. The question to ask is, “Does the Spirit live in you?” Yes, if you have received Him into your life. ...if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new (2 Corinthians 5:17).

When you were born again, you were born a new type of man. This new man is not like anything the world has seen before; he's the new superman in Christ. He only shares semblance with the Lord Himself. 1 John 4:17 reiterates this truth about the new creation for it says Click the link below for the full article.

TOPIC: Live From "Inside Out!"

DATE: Sunday, January 26th

Pastor Chris

Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life (Proverbs 4:23).

In Matthew 12:33-35, the Lord Jesus used the allegory of a tree to teach that it’s the character of a man’s spirit that really matters; it’s what you’ve got in your spirit that counts. He said, "Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit. O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things."

The character of your spirit is the character of your life. This is the reason any change you want to see on the outside must be initiated from your spirit; you must work from inside out. At the beginning of the year like this, many make "new year resolutions," promising themselves to start doing certain good things, or put away certain unwholesome habits. Some have a goal to improve themselves spiritually; they want to get more organized, give more attention to the diligent study of the Word and prayer. Some others want to make improvements in their career, education or lifestyle.

However, many get frustrated along the way, because only three months into the year, they’re back to what they used to be; unable to make any meaningful or lasting change. The reason is simple: they were trying to work from the "outside-in," instead of working from the "inside-out." The things that happen in your life come from your spirit and not from around you. Man is a spirit, hence it’s important you learn to live from your spirit and bring forth good things out of the good treasures of your heart.

Real success is from the human spirit. Until and unless your spirit is conditioned to go in the direction of the Word, and the Spirit of God, true success will elude you. 2 Corinthians 4:7 says, "But we have this treasure in earthen vessels…"; your spirit is a reservoir of good things. Therefore, give attention to the cultivation of your spirit by learning and meditating on God’s Word. When you allow God’s Word to dwell in you richly, you’d bring forth success, divine health, prosperity, progress, victory, and promotion from within you.

Prayer  Dear Father, I thank you for daily loading me with supernatural benefits and for giving me the advantage in life. I’m renewed, refreshed and positioned for the glorious life through the Word and the power of your Spirit at work in me today, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Pastor Chris

This day will the LORD deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel (1 Samuel 17:46).

Pastor Chris

Observe David’s inspiring boast in the Lord, as he addressed Goliath of Gath, the champion of the Philistines, in our opening text above. David, as a young boy, was conscious of God’s covenant with Israel. His faith in the living God gave him the boldness and audacity to confront Goliath even though he was a stripling. He was confident he couldn’t be defeated by an "uncircumcised Philistine."

Prior to his duel with Goliath, David had received the anointing through Samuel the Prophet. As he spoke those words of faith against Goliath, that anointing was activated and propelled him to go out fearlessly against the giant. The Bible says, "And it came to pass, when the Philistine arose, and came and drew nigh to meet David, that David hasted, and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine" (1 Samuel 17:48).

Unafraid, he charged towards the giant. This is what happens when you vocalize your faith; you activate the anointing. And once the anointing takes over, you find yourself doing things completely outside the range of human reasoning.

As a child of God, you’ve been anointed by the Holy Spirit. 1 John 2:27 says, "But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you…." As Christians we live the faith-life; Habakkuk 2:4 says "… the just shall live by his faith." Therefore, to activate the anointing of God’s Spirit that’s in you, for your walk of faith to be effective, you must learn to vocalize your faith.

Vocalizing your faith means to make your boast in the Lord, affirming your faith in His ability, and how that ability is functioning in you! It means to declare your consciousness of His greatness in you—to acknowledge and profess that you’re sufficient in His sufficiency—declaring who He is, what He has done, and who He has made you!

Activate His power in you even now, by testifying of what He has done for you, and what the Word says He can do through you.

The greater One lives in me; I’m more than a conqueror! His power is at work in me today, to bless and transform lives. His righteousness is expressed in my words and actions, and by His great power, the circumstances of my life are framed in conformity to His perfect will for me! I’m a winner every day! Hallelujah!

There have always been and there always will be in this world false spiritual leaders who pretend to represent God, but in fact do not represent God. The Old Testament talks about them, identifies them, and warns people to stay away from them. The New Testament does the same. In fact, Moses was in conflict with them in Egypt. Jeremiah was fighting with them in Judah. Ezekiel faced them and called them foolish prophets that followed their own spirit and have seen nothing. Our Lord warned of them as false Christ's and false prophets who shall show great signs and wonders. The apostle Paul struggled against them as preachers of another gospel in Galatians Chapter 1, and purveyors of the doctrine of demons he called them in writing to Timothy.

2 Timothy 1:7 (This is the power for kings, the spirit for masters)
