PASTOR CHRIS

The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.

(Proverbs 18:10)

Matthew 12:21 says “And in his name shall the Gentiles trust.” That’s because there’s no salvation in any other name; for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:12). The Name of Jesus guarantees salvation from sin, sickness, destruction, death and all unpleasantness of life.

If you’re born again you have the legal right and power of attorney to use and live in the Name of Jesus. The Name represents authority. Every other name has its limitations, weaknesses and restraints, but Jesus, “having become so much better than the angels has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they”(Hebrews 1:4 NKJV). The Name of Jesus is a strong tower of refuge for the righteous; it’s a fortifying wall of protection for everyone who believes.

You can change any situation with the Name of Jesus. In Philippians 2:10, we’re assured of the efficacy and power in the Name of Jesus: “that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”

Thus, by the power of that Name, I pray for you right now, that your life will be a testimony of God’s grace as you excel and progress from glory to glory. May the power of God’s Word transform your life and translate you into your place of inheritance in Christ, to fulfill God’s destiny for your life. May His anointing project you beyond evil and shield you from the destructive and manipulative tendencies of the wicked one in today’s world, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

PRAYER

I live today in and by the power of the Name of Jesus, the Name that is above every other name. I thank you, precious Father, for giving me the privilege and power of attorney to use the wonderful Name of Jesus to bring order, peace and prosperity into my life—my family, job, health and finances. Amen.
